This week, based on the scenario chosen for your software engineering on-going exercise, you will develop a presentation to executive management and stakeholders with a recording, where you will discuss the following:
Identify and explain the importance of understanding the nature of operations and needed data to support those operations.
Discuss the research questions the study would address.
Discuss the importance of data standards, master data management, and data governance programs.
Discuss the importance of identifying usability criteria for storyboard or workflow design.
Explain the collection and analysis processes you would use to perform this study.
Define the process of collecting data (research design, sample, tools, method, analysis).
Determine how this dataset would help solve a software design and testing processes, especially for usability compliance.
Discuss the challenges your study or design would encounter.
Determine who will use these datasets, applications, services, and users. Explain how it will be managed and shared across applications and platforms.
Length: 12 to 15-slide presentation with supporting diagrams, not including cover and reference slides. Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as speaker notes for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists
