25 Aug Compare and contrast the strengths and weaknesses of the different ways of knowing discussed in Chapter 1 and in the article by Barbara Carper.
1) Think of a personal anecdote or experience in which you have observed, or even experienced, conflicts between/among health care providers (e.g., nurses and physicians) or between health care providers and patients. Analyze the situation to determine if the root source of the conflict might be related to differing “worldview” perspectives of the parties involved. For example, why does an older adult with diabetes not follow the advice of healthcare providers regarding how to manage diabetes? Could it be a differing worldview? What other factors could be contributing to the conflict?
2)In this discussion, you will discuss ways of knowing and knowledge development
