From the beginning of the course, you were encouraged to select topics that interest or affect you in some way.  The research is an exciting way to join in a conversation on a selected issue. Elaborate on two or three topics of interest that are controversial/argumentative—broad enough to render full research but narrow enough to generate a well-defined claim.
