Using APA format, each student will submit a 5- to 7-page paper (NOT including the title and reference pages) on their chosen public health topic.  NO LATE PAPERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.  Students must use a MINIMUM of 5 CREDIBLE SOURCES.  This paper MUST include the following information about the chosen public health topic:

1. Introduction
2. Definition (i.e. What is it?  What are the causes?  How is it spread?  Who does it affect?)
3. History (i.e. Who discovered it?  How was it discovered?)
4. Prevention Methods (i.e. immunizations, education, regulation)
5. Current Statistics (National and/or International)
6. Future (i.e. Threats, Advances in Prevention and/or Treatment, Eradication, etc.)
7. Conclusion
