Course Learning Objectives: 1 – 7

Purpose: Part of a PMHNP role is to collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as medical providers, Psychiatrists, Therapists, and with other PMHNPs. The purpose of this assignment is to have students get familiar with collaborating with each other to come to the correct diagnosis and create suitable treatment plans to decrease or alleviate the patient’s symptoms.

Directions: 1. Students will form groups of 4-5 students.

2. Each group will notify the instructor of their group members (By week 3).

a. The DSM-V-TR diagnosis with support

i. Be specific with dosages and the kind of therapy needed, supported by evidence.

5. Each student will evaluate each group member using the following document and submit it along with the PowerPoint presentation via the Assignment tab in Blackboard.
