Discuss health literacy in relation to information technology in terms of a population of interest to you (elderly, ethnic groups, English as a second language, adolescents, low income, or various health conditions — HIV/AIDS, heart disease, diabetes, etc). Include the following points in your discussion:
Explain health literacy and its relation to information technology.
Provide a description of the population you have chosen, including why they may be at risk for low health literacy, as well as a source (website or journal article) that validates your choice.
Search the internet and provide a link to a website that would be difficult for a person in your population with low health literacy to understand.
