Review the definitions of supply chain as part of forward and reverse logistics. Remember from the state of this class the following: Going Circular (2024) states, “Both forward and reverse logistics are essential components of the supply chain. Forward logistics is a visible and familiar process involving the purchasing of goods from manufacturers to the end user. Reverse logistics involves returning the product from its original destination to another point, often for the purpose of reselling, recycling, or properly disposing of the product.” A Market Analysis Report stated that “the global reverse logistics market size was estimated at USD 731.30 billion in 2022 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.4% from 2023 to 2030.”
