Small Group Observation and Paper
The Small Group Observation Paper should describe the student’s observations of the type of group, the group composition (type of client, size of group), multicultural awareness, knowledge or skills, effective group leader characteristics, group leader skills, ethical or legal issues, the group stage characteristics, trust, goals, problem or difficult behaviors, transference or counter transference, therapeutic factors, and group norms. The paper should include the student’s experience, thoughts, and feelings in reaction to the observation.
