2. AmericanFederal Bureaucracy – Write an essay including the following: (1)characteristics of the bureaucracy as explained by German sociologist MaxWeber, (2) the structure and organization of the American federal bureaucracy,and (3) the role of the federal bureaucracy in the policy making process.
3. DomesticPolicy Write an essay on the topic including the following: (1) anoverview of major domestic policy arenas in which the federal government isinvolved today, (2) explanation of stages in the policy making process, (3) roleof the federal government in the domestic sector, and (4) domestic policy andthe federal budget, and (5) domestic policy priorities of the Bidenadministration.
4. AmericanForeign Policy – Write an essay on the topic encompassing the following:(1) foreign policy goals of the United States, (2) the most important threat toAmerican national security, and (3) strategies of American foreign policy inthe twenty-first century.
Note:
- The essays must consist of at least two pages each, encompassing a minimum of eight pages.
- There should be a minimum of at least five citations and a bibliography with five or more references for each essay.
