Legal Aspects Paper:
The student will select a topic concerning any legal issue surrounding clinical education. Submit 
your topic for approval via canvas by June 20th
. Topics will not be allowed to change after June 
27th. The student may pick an issue or concern related to clinical education. Once you have 
picked your topic, you will write a scholarly paper related to your chosen topic. The scholarly 
paper should be 5 pages in length (1 title page, 3 pages of body, 1 reference page).
The paper must meet APA requirements. Review your APA 7th edition manual regarding level 
headings, title page, spacing, and Reference page. Citations MUST be used throughout your 
paper to support your thoughts. Major deductions will be applied (see rubric below) for failure to 
utilize citations throughout the paper. There is a minimum of 6 scholarly sources. One source can 
be your textbook, and only 2 sources can be websites. (The APA manual is NOT a resource). All 
sources must be within 5 years old.
NO more than 20% of your paper can be direct quotes. Grammarly may be used to check for 
plagiarism. The plagiarism detector can help you determine how much of your paper has direct 
quotes. However, failure to cite the source regarding quotes is plagiarism. Academic integrity 
will be upheld on this assignment. Plagiarism will not be tolerated and a grade of 0 will be 
awarded for plagiarism. Submit your Grammarly reports along with your paper.
