One of the major tenets of this course is The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership from one of our textbooks, The Leadership Challenge 6th edition. For this assignment, you will select a person in a leadership position with whom you either work or are able to know well enough to obtain and evaluate relevant information. The purpose of this case study is to evaluate that individual, unobtrusively, and describe his/her leadership behaviors. What is the position of the person you are observing and what is your understanding of the primary responsibilities of that person? How would you describe some criteria of effectiveness for that position? Identify and describe any of The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership that you would ascribe to this person. What practices do you feel this leader displays most? (Model The Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge The Process, Enable Others To Act, Encourage The Heart). What practices do you feel this leader displays least? What sticks out in your mind about how this individual leads? The case study paper will be between 2-3 pages in length. Paper should be double-spaced, use 12-point font, and have 1 inch margins coupled with an APA Title Page.
