LIFE COACHING PRESENTATION ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS

OVERVIEW

As a growing field, it is imperative for life coaching to abide by ethical guidelines and specific standards. Coaches from around the world are coming together to raise standards for training and practice so that coaching can continue to emerge into an increasingly respectable and useful field. While the certification process is personal and there are a host of opportunities available, considerations of ethics protect both clients and coaches to prevent problems from developing later. The good news is that ethical codes and standards for coaches do exist. Students will provide foundational information on life coaching and address ethical guidelines and standards within life coaching.

INSTRUCTIONS

Based on research findings, the student will create a PowerPoint presentation in which the student will discuss the ethical guidelines and standards in life coaching. Items to include are outlined as follows:

● 10-15 slide PowerPoint presentation

o Title slide and References slide are required but do not count towards overall length

● Current APA formatting, including in-text citations when necessary

● A minimum of 5 peer-reviewed and professional sources published in the last 5 years must be incorporated in using in-text citations.

● Your course book and lecture material can be used toward the five sources
