Often in policing courses, the radical perspective emerges undermining identification and recognition for improvements that have taken place within policing. In this activity, you are to identify a policy or program initiative undertaken by a police agency that looks to improve relationships with the community (thus you are taking the orthodox perspective). This poster presentation necessitates background information on the city, overview and analysis of the police agency, crime trends and associated challenges, and current policing initiatives that are being undertaken to improve policing within the specific community. This poster presentation will use a visual presentation medium (i.e. PPT, Prezi, or Infographic).
