So, here are some tips to keep in mind as you put yours together:

• Link round-ups are about adopting the role of a curator. You’ve been presented with all this material online. What will you choose to ‘exhibit’ to readers?
• The success of a link round-up comes in saving people time. How can the links you provide take the time and stress out of scouring the internet for what’s happening in your industry?
• Make sure the links are recent and relevant to your topic. You might want to collect sites like ikea.com, wayfair.com, structube.com, but avoid doing so. Though these are technically links you’re actually bringing together brands, not stories. If you do this, it would be more of a list than a link round-up.
• Add a description about each link that describes why you picked it. Why, out of every other link online, is this one interesting and worth checking out?
• Remember the essentials. Headline, introduction, conclusion, a small piece of writing for each list entry, and a CTA at the end. Also make sure the link you’re including is clear for readers.
