Etiology is the study of the causes of disease and their modes of operation. For this discussion post, choose a disease condition of your choice, describe the disease, what are the signs and symptoms, and explain the risk factors associated with causing the disease. For example, I could choose Lyme Disease and then describe what Lyme Disease is including signs and symptoms and what places someone at risk for contracting the disease. Do not use a disease that you may have used for other work or discussions in this course. Your post must be a minimum of 300 words.
