Essay Four: The Cause and Effect Essay
- Write four to five pages (not including reference and title page).
- The essay must be written in APA style, but you do not need section headers, an abstract, or a table of contents.
- The essay needs to have at least five outside sources, but more may be necessary to adequately discuss the causes and effects of your subject matter.
- At least three of the sources must come from the SJCD database, and the other two sources must come from credible sites, such as ones that end in org, edu, or gov. You are highly encouraged to use all sources from the SJCD database.
- Your essay needs to be in APA style.
- Please avoid writing about global warming, abortion, marijuana, and marriage-related topics.
- Write about something in society that is troubling or exceptionally interesting and discuss the causes and effects of the idea or phenomenon. Consider the objections others might have to your proposed causes and effects.
