Historic and current trends and issues play a big role in early childhood education and policy, from funding, to teacher qualifications, to standards, to definitions of high-quality programs, and more. Learning theories have helped define high-quality education, and they continue to help guide teaching professional practice. By the end of this course, understanding the significance and impact of trends, issues, policies, and theories in early childhood education will help you formulate your education philosophy.

Create a 10- to 15-slide presentation about issues, trends, theories, and public policy in early childhood education, and include:
