I have a project, that is supposed to be turned it in batches on weekly basis. Due dates for week 1&2 is this Saturday. I will attach details for week 1& 2 in this email. 3rd week next week until the 10th week

This is the topic/details: For this project, you will create a simple marketing plan for a designated business. You may select a business from the list provided. You will need to conduct marketing research on the business (using the Internet, Stratford’s Online Library, and additional outside resources such as interviews and market studies) to address the parts of the marketing plan.

Note: The marketing plan that you create for this course is a scaled-down version of a “real” marketing plan.

· Prepare your Marketing Plan in Word using APA style.

· Your Marketing Plan should be long enough to sufficiently cover the outlined points. Expect to end up with approximately 5-8 full pages (not including the Cover Page and Reference Page) in your final document.

· You must research to complete this Marketing Plan. Ensure you use a minimum of 4 resources as you complete your research throughout this plan. Your sources must be valid, credible resources. Wikis, such as Wikipedia, and blogs are not allowed.

· Your Marketing plan is divided into parts that will be submitted for grading throughout the term.

Make sure each section has a clear heading that is easy to understand as well as a tight and precise description of what that section includes. At a glance, a reader should understand exactly what the section is about! Your final Marketing Plan will be a compilation of all these parts:

Week 1: Part A – Company Overview/ Product Description

Week 2: Part B –SWOT Analysis

Week 3: Part C – STP Analysis (Segmentation, Target Market, Positioning)

Week 4: Part D – Marketing Mix – 4 P’s (Price, Product, Promotion, Place)

Week 5: Part E – Economic Analysis, Competitor/Market Analysis

Week 6. Part F – Customer Analysis

Week 7 Part G – Performance Evaluation

Week 8 Part H – Executive Summary

Week 9 Part I – Pulling it together – Final Paper

Your Final Marketing Plan, which include Parts A to H should incorporate all the feedback received during the term. This will be uploaded in Moodle as your completed project. Be sure that you include your reference page and an Appendix (if applicable).

Lesson 1 Assignment

When you create this portion of your marketing plan, be sure to use the headings listed below:

Introduction

Name and describe the business you will be using for your Marketing Plan.

Purpose of a Marketing Plan

Explain the purpose of a marketing plan. You should write at least one to two paragraphs to explain this.

Mission Statement

What is the mission statement of your chosen business? What does that mission statement mean?

Competitive Advantage

What is the competitive advantage of your chosen business? What does it do better than its competition?

Company Products

Describe the products/services offered for sale

Ensure you write in paragraph form and sufficiently elaborate on the topics to be covered. One or two brief sentences in each area will not be sufficient. In addition, as research will be required, ensure you include proper documentation of your sources. Prepare your document in Word using APA style. If you need assistance with APA format, please talk with the university librarian or consult the material provided in the course

Lesson 2: this unit you will submit Part B of your marketing plan.

A SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis looks at internal and external factors that can affect your business. Internal factors are your strengths and weaknesses. External factors are the threats and opportunities.

As part of your document submission, create a SWOT Analysis chart as shown below. An example of a chart is also located in chapter 2 of your textbook.
