Evaluate a Landmark Supreme Court Case from the Past

What is a landmark Supreme Court Case? A landmark case is a court case that is studied because it has historical and legal significance. The most significant cases are those that have had a lasting effect on the application of a certain law, often concerning your individual rights and liberties.
- Write one paragraph that provides a description of the case. Your description should include a SUMMARY in your own language (do not just repeat the article) of the following
- who was involved
- the issue that was being decided
- Write one paragraph that describes which amendments are relevant to the case and HOW they are relevant.
- which amendment(s) AND/OR laws are relevant to the case and HOW they are relevant
- brief explanation of the precedents- previous cases that were relevant
- Write one paragraph that addresses the following:
- Explain whether you agree with the ruling or the dissent (if there is a dissent) for each case.
- What is MOST SIGNIFICANT about the case and ruling. Why did this case have a lasting effect on American society?
