15 Aug Chocolate milk as a recovery drink-2
This should be a response to my peer’s discussion post. It needs to use at least two references. I will upload the peer’s initial post and add the required readings below. I will uplolad the article we had to read and respond to, as well as the original directions.
Original directions:
Read the by Pritchett et al. (2009). Then complete the discussion prompt. Your response must answer/provide the following:
a. Discuss the findings and take-away points from the article with regard to the use of chocolate milk as a post-exercise recovery drink compared to other commercial recovery beverages
b. In your opinion, based on the findings (as well as additional literature in the evidence-base), would you recommend this drink for all types of athletes (endurance, strength, and power)? Why or why not? Provide specific examples in your answer.
c. Also, discuss the importance of timing of post-exercise consumption
