The right to a jury is one of the bedrock ideals upon which our country was founded. However, the way jurors are summoned is generally upon threat of being held in contempt for failure to report. What are your thoughts on an all-volunteer jury pool as we have with our military? Only those who value jury service would apply, be paid a competitive rate for their services and would have the appropriate knowledge of the issues to be decided. What are your thoughts?
