Discussion Assignment Instructions

The student will complete four Discussions in this course. The student will post one thread of at least 450 words by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Thursday of the assigned Module: Week. The student must then post two replies of at least 250 words by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Sunday of the assigned Module: Week. For each thread, students must support their assertions with at least two scholarly citations in Turabian format. Each reply must incorporate at least two scholarly citations in Turabian format. Any sources cited must have been published within the last five years. Acceptable sources include the course readings and/or scholarly sources, such as books and peer-reviewed journal articles.

• State what policy or policies relevant to your chosen cognate interest you most. Explain why.
• State what policy goal(s) you most want to see accomplished. Explain why.
• Drawing on assigned readings, identify three key features of the public policy environment relevant to the public policy that interests you, and elaborate on the ways in which these features of the public policy environment have shaped or will shape debate on this policy issue.
