(1) Organ system in which it belongs along including other organs of the system. (2) Describe the basic function of the organ. (3) Location of the organ using a body regional terminology, body cavity, abdominopelvic quadrant and abdominopelvic region (if within the abdominopelvic cavity). (4) Use directional terminology to describe the location of the organ in comparison to 2 other organs. (5) Discuss any pathologies (disease or disorder) relating to the organ.
