For this final project, you will be developing a PowerPoint presentation on a real-life, all-hazard emergency profile/plan. Complete the following tasks:
Choose what you believe to be the most significant natural and man-made (select one of each) hazards within your community (local or state).
Design a hazard profile indicating both of the hazards’ extent, probability, and location (look to Chapter 10 for help with the needed content if you need a reminder).
Consider the areas within your community that most likely would be threatened by both of the hazards that you selected.
Analyze how your community could mitigate these hazards (remember to include a discussion on mitigating for your community leaders, citizens, businesses, schools, hospitals, etc.).
Your final PowerPoint presentation should be a minimum of 10 slides long, not including the title or reference slide. Make sure to include a voiceover or detailed speaker’s notes that you would use for an actual presentation. If you would like to add audio to your slides, view Adding Audio to a PowerPoint for a helpful resource that walks you through those steps. You must cite at least two outside resources (beyond your textbook) to help support the ideas that you include. Adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment. APA formatting, however, is not necessary.
