Nursing Research Study Analysis
Instructions:
1. Select a nursing research article that is of interest to you (this article must come from a
primary source)
2. Write a critical analysis of the article using the following guiding questions:
a). What is the study’s contribution to the nursing profession?
b). Does this study need to be replicated or can the results already be implemented? Explain your answer.
3. The analysis must be written using APA 7 edition style.
4. The analysis must be written using essay form (the essay should have a maximum of 10 pages).
Use the following guiding questions to complete each of the parts:
1. Introduction – Brief description in which you indicate the chosen item and your reasons for selecting it.
2. Development – Several paragraphs where you answer the guiding questions and state your opinions and arguments about them.
3. Conclusion – Closing paragraph (s) in which you summarize your point of view and discuss the following points:
4. Do you agree with the approaches exposed in the reading? Support your position, whether for or against, with precise arguments on the subject.
5. Support the answer (s) using at least three (3) authors or sources of information related to the topic.
6. Use the latest APA style to make your essay and citations.
