Defining 21st Century Teaching, Learning, and Literacy
Educators and policymakers continually refer to 21st-century teaching, learning and literacy when discussing the skills and competencies that teachers and students need for education, careers, and social life in the decades ahead, but the deeper meaning of the term is often left unexplored. In this assignment I want you to explore the concept of 21st-century teaching, learning, and literacy: Are they habits of mind? New or different instructional approaches? Technology tools for the classroom?
To begin this assignment, read and review the following material about 21st-century learning before answering the questions below:
