Watch “Ports and Protocols” of the Pluralsight course, Networking for CompTIA A+ (220-901) by Tim Warner if you need to review the ports of the TCP/IP suite of protocols. Access the video via this week’s Learning Activities folder.

Complete the UDP and TCP Ports Matrix (<–using the document linked here) with five common, well-known UDP ports and five common, well-known TCP ports. (Hint – if you’re not already familiar with the term “common, well known TCP & UDP ports” (aka system ports) please research it prior to completing this assignment).

For each port: state TCP or UDP and the port number, describe the use of that port in your own words, describe the service that runs on that port, indicate whether it is a secure communication port (yes or no), and identify any labs you completed in Wk 1 or 2 of this course in which you saw that port (if none, state none).
