  3. In your opinion, why do we refer to the 1920s as the “Roaring Twenties”? What was going on in that decade that might make that an appropriate moniker?
  4. What was the impact of the “Great Migration” of African Americans out of the South and into Northern and Western cities between 1900 and 1940? Did these migrants find what they sought when they arrived at their new destination? Why or why not?
