31 Aug integrative essay on the five themes
students will write a 7-page integrative essay on the five themes. The goal of the paper (160 points) is to reflect on ideas that have been addressed in class and in the course readings. Students should address the interconnectedness of the five themes and the importance of exploring an interdisciplinary approach to deal with global issues. Students should explain how the theoretical framework for global studies lends perspective to ones own major and how proclamation of the gospel is woven through all five disciplines. Students should include how their own worldview has been challenged and changed. They should also outline how God has uniquely gifted them with certain strengths (Refer to StrengthsFinder.) to engage the world.
