The focus of any instruction is learning, but the environment in which that learning occurs is critical to student achievement. For this discussion, think back to a time when you were in a classroom or training environment.

What various physical arrangements have you seen in classrooms/training environments in your experience? Which arrangements seem to be most effective? Why? Which arrangements can lead to troubling student behavior? Why? How might you use the strategies you learned in this Educational Psychology course to alter the environment to be more conducive to learning?
