This assignment will have 3 parts:
1) Written response to the prompt
2) A video file (500 MB available for the course dropbox) that shows you reading your written response – make sure that your face can be seen and your voice can be heard. If a video is not provided then a passing grade for the assignment will not be issued. If your video file is larger than 500 MB then use the steps provided in the Video Tutorial section titled “Steps to Submit Assignments That Require Both Written & Video”.

3) A completed Novel Study Template.

Prompt:
You will write a 2.5 to a 3-page independent novel review on a novel from the list provided in the lesson page titled Independent Novel Study – 1.  Each paragraph should contain a minimum of six sentences. Use size 12 font with double-spacing when completing all written assignments unless otherwise instructed.

Steps to completing the independent novel study:

1)  Download and fill in the Individual Novel Study Template that is provided below.
2)  Take the ideas from the completed template and write them into well-developed paragraphs using a combination of compound, complex and simple sentences. 
3)  Have a friend or family member proofread your book review and make the suggested corrections to your document.
4)  Once you have finalized your copy then submit BOTH the completed template and your final copy to the assignment dropbox.
