31 Aug HU Core Competency
Prepare a 4-6 page typed double spaced, core competency essay. You must provide at least one page of reflection for each HU core competency focused on through this experience.
Four Core Competencies to Focus on:
- Communication
- Civic Engagement
- Global Awareness
- Teamwork & Collaboration
Portray any new knowledge that you have obtained. Discuss areas for improvement that you identified and any new directions for continued growth.
Some questions you may consider answering about each core competency are:
- What have I learned about my understanding of this competency?
- What new knowledge or skills have I gained?
- How has it changed my behavior and/or values?
- What are the implications for me?
- Did it have an impact upon anyone else? If so, how?
- What must I do now, or in the future, to continue learning/developing in this area?
Remember to discuss examples of your accomplishments and/or progress. Also, include your post-personal SWOT Analysis, In the beginning of this course, you conducted a SWOT analysis to reflect on your personal Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. To follow up and reflect on all the knowledge and experience you have gained throughout this experience, You will conduct a post SWOT analysis. Highlight any new strengths, change in weaknesses, new opportunities, or any new threats.
