Knowing both sides of an issue makes you a well-rounded person, and open-minded to consider points of view that are different than your own.
This assignment will require the student to follow the debate format and create a debate between two theorists or experts that view the effects of globalization differently. You will need to develop a debate issue/question, or you can use the following issue: Globalization is better than isolation.
The paper should have an introduction briefly describing the debate question and the two sides. Then you should include a section writing from one perspective and then a section writing from the other perspective. Be sure that you are unbiased in this discussion. For the last part you will take a position on the issue (be sure to persuade the reader to your position). The assignment should be written as a report to senior management.
Length: 5-7 pages, not including title and reference pages
References: Include a minimum of 5 peer-reviewed scholarly resources
Your debate presentation should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
