As we learned in Chapter 3, one of the first tasks a company must accomplish is to analyze the micro and macro-environment to help determine if the new product idea has potential for success, and also identify areas that may be challenging. This is often called a Situation Analysis in the business world.You will research and write about what you learn about the following micro and macro-environments both in general and as related to your product. Your paper should have the following 6 headings:

• Competitive Environment
• Economic Environment
• Natural Environment
• Technological Environment
• Political & Legal Environment
• Cultural & Social Environment

Your paper should be about 3-4 pages 12-point font, double spaced, one-inch margins. You are required to have a minimum of 10 outside sources cited in APA format both in-text and on a References page. You may use only one direct quote in your paper.
