Assessment Description

Early childhood teachers will have students with a variety of skill levels and behavioral needs in the classroom. Using data gathered from observations and other assessments allows teachers to appropriately provide interventions, sometimes in the form of RTI or MTSS, to meet the individual needs of all students. 

Compose a 750-1,000 word narrative that includes:

1. A Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strategy to be used specific to each classroom space. Classroom spaces are to include, Art, Reading, Manipulatives, Pretend Play, Gross motor/Outside play, Large group activities

2. A description of how data collection will drive changes in each classroom space.

3. A description of interventions, for all three RTI tiers, for each classroom space.

4. A description of motivational and instructional interventions that can teach young children how to adapt to the classroom environment.
