Teacher’s salaries are a matter of public record because they are paid for by the community. It’s time to find out what your future income might be. Identify the wage-earning potential of a new teacher (zero years experience) with a Bachelor’s degree in education with teacher licensure for the district where you would like to eventually be hired. What are the offered benefits (ie: medical, dental, credit reimbursement, airfare, etc)? This is usually found on the district’s website in the teachers’ current contract. Identify the district and post what you have learned about salary and benefits available for teachers.
Narrow down your search now, and focus on your first choice of school in which you would like to work.

- have been at the school for more than 5 years?
