Minimum of 4 pages typed double spaced in MLA Format. Your finished paper should be about 6 pages + a Works Cited.
In-text Citations should be used and inserted wherever you are using some of your sources (paraphrased, summarized, or quoted directly)
Works Cited should be attached Listing only the works you have used.
Apply the comments offered on your Intro & your Outline to your Rough Draft
Start writing, interweaving your evidence in a balanced way for both sides of the comparison. Make sure you evenly distribute the material so that you are equally supporting both parts of the comparison or contrast.
Remember you have to show what your two areas have in common as well as where they contrast.
Be specific.
Avoid use of the words "similar" and "different" without saying what is similar or different.
Work on integrating your evidence in different ways each time, so that your essay is not dull.

Criteria

Presents 2 Subjects being compared and contrasted
-Grabs reader’s attention (HOOK)
–Sense of purpose and audience. Intro is at least ½ page
-Introduces SUBJECT A and introduces SUBJECT B.
-Intro ends with an effective and identifiable thesis that makes a clear C-C argument and does not just lean on words such as “similar” and “different” without saying anything specific.
