Research Proposal Project: USING YOUR APPROVED OUTLINE
Students will develop a research introduction including a purpose statement. Research questions must be related to a topic covered in class and should be based on information discussed in your outline. The research introduction should include a well-developed literature review and purpose statement discussion (methods, results sections are not required for this assignment). The proposal will be formatted using the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition guidelines including a reference list.
- The outline should be at least four pages double spaced with Times New Roman 12 point font (-2 points if not correct formatting)
- Clearly describe the research questions and/or purpose statement (-2 points for missing information)
- Include at least ten citations from peer-reviewed publications (-1 point for each missing citation)
- Add a correctly formatted reference section (-5 points if not included)
- Follow 7th edition APA format for citations (-.5 points for each error)
- Use correct grammar and spelling (-.5 points for each error)
Attached are the OUTLINE and an example. The reference journal articles can be supplied if needed.
