One goal of this course is to help you learn to listen to full-length musical works, and the best way to maintain interest in a lengthy musical work is if you approach the music as an informed listener. This exercise is designed to help you do this with one of the most iconic works of western art music ever written: the first movement of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.
