## For this discussion, we could have talked about the Mongols, foot-binding, the Chinese inventions (100 of which made “modern life” possible, including gunpowder…), earthquake detectors, acupuncture, the Chinese cosmos (qi, yin and yang), and Chinese explorers, and that’s without touching Japan, Korea, Vietnam, or Southeast Asia. So…what do I choose? Food:
