09 Nov Weekly discussion question of psych 477 experimental method
First part, base on the article I sent to answer the question. Create the research questions which is related to the article I sent at the second part.
O’Conner and Murphy (2021) write, “self-rated knowledge was not statistically related to dependent variables” (p. 244). Given the experiment at hand, this claim seems counter intuitive to me. I would think that knowledge of a label affects attitudes towards people with that label. Write about possible reasons for this.

- Population
- Random Assignment
- Connection between labeling and attitudes. Maybe there is something in their findings or previous literature cited in the literature review.
