Review the Instructions. Proofread your work using the PDFs I placed in "Class Information" to ensure that the quality of your writing meets the standards for a 200-level literature course. I have placed MLA Style and Formatting guides in "Class Information," which show how to properly format your paper’s heading and how to properly quote. Use these guides. 

Your essay should be supported by the literature (quotations from the the novels and the poems) AND independent research (quotes from at least one (1) critical source, meaning a literary journal article, properly cited). Use the Essex County College databases to retrieve articles. The paper should be three and a half to four (3.5 – 4 )pages in length with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You must have a separate Works Cited page (5th page). Make sure that your paper is formatted and cited using MLA 8th Edition Style.

All papers will be submitted using TurnItIn, which captures uncited sources and instances of plagiarism. 

When you have completed the assignment, save a copy for yourself in an easily accessible place and submit a copy using Moodle.
