  1. Begin your analysis by reviewing the “Real Choices at Oracle” case found on p. 554-555 of your text. You are encouraged to jot down notes as you proceed through each step of your analysis. 
    • Continue with a deeper dive into the key elements of the marketing case that include, but are not limited to, the financial, competitor, customer, and product/brand facts and opinions.
  2. Then answer the two sets of questions (total of 8 questions) at the end of the case, listed under sections "You Make the Call" and "Digging Deeper into the Case."
    • Use the case report on p. 554-555, marketing concepts/terms from your textbook, and selected outside materials, to support your answers. 
  3. Reminder: You should identify and integrate key marketing examples to strengthen your responses.
  4. Remember, you must consult at least one credible source beyond the textbook. 
    • In particular, you are encouraged to consult the Bellevue University Library and use at least one of the following sources: The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Business Week, and/or Forbes.
