Compare/contrast analysis

Directions

  1. Review your Comparison/Contrast Chart about the two articles you read earlier in this unit.

  2. Identify two (2) significant rhetorical elements of the articles you would like to compare/contrast. (Choose from focus, purpose, audience, bias, tone, depth, sources, credibility, organization, beginning or ending.)

  3. Develop a brief two paragraph rhetorical analysis (300-350 words) about those elements. In the first paragraph, identify one of those elements and compare/contrast how that element is presented and used in both articles. In the second paragraph, identify the second element and compare/contrast how that element is presented and used  in both articles.

  4. Revise your analysis and
  5. Post your two-paragraph rhetorical analysis in the Discussion titled “Comparison/Contrast Analysis.”
