you will need to outline, describe and discuss local American government in your locality or hometown. You will need to study the county and city government website, and ideally, attend a local government meeting and write about your observations. Many localities stream their meetings, or post a video of them afterwards, so this may not require you to attend in person. In addition to describing the organization, finances and process of your local government, I want you to identify (through research or interviews) the key hot topics and concerns of your local government, why these are the hot topics, and how local government and the community is responding to them.
