Jazz Concert Review Assignment
The Jazz Concert Review Assignment (approximately 500–600 words, typewritten) would normally
require students in residence at University Park to attend a live jazz concert, selecting from a list of
performances taking place in late September, October, and November. While it’s likely that we will list
live jazz performances, the evolving circumstances surrounding the Covid–19 pandemic contribute an
element of uncertainty as it relates to attending a live performance. In any case, students will be offered
the option to “attend” and review a “virtual” jazz performance, selecting from a list of “virtual” live
video–recorded jazz performances.
Any available live jazz performances will be listed in Canvas. Links to the “virtual” jazz performances
will also be provided inside Canvas. The Jazz Concert Review Assignment module will be published in
Canvas at the beginning of Week 5. The Concert Review is due: 11:59 p.m., Thursday, November 11,
2021.
