Esteem: There are more high quality types of milk, such as one that come in glass bottles, one that come from local farms, and ones that claim themselves being a family farm. Cartons can have pictures of their cows happily eating grass, or come in a simple sleek bottle. Both display a high esteem of the product.

Self-actualization: There is a scale of the quality of milk one can buy, the cheap plastic gallon or the family farm glass half gallon for three times the price. By the milk will be different types of half and half, heavy whipping cream, coffee creamer etc. Some will be created by the same brand that makes the milk, this creates constant brand loyalty.
