In this two-part course project, you will curate resources and ideas to use with children up to age 8. The resources will apply to the themes of  Art, Movement/Music, and Dramatic Play/Puppetry. Your completed project can be used as a professional resource to support your own teaching and provide ideas for collaborating with families and respecting diversity. You have a choice of doing this project as a Pinterest Board or as a PowerPoint.

Pinterest is a knowledge curation tool where users pin Internet links onto boards.

In Part 1 (due Unit 2), you would create your assignment board in Pinterest, create three folders and add three (3) pins to each folder. See the attached document for complete instructions and a grading rubric. 

In Part 2. (due Unit 7, you would complete your Board by curating at least ten (10) pins for each folder so that you have at least thirty (30) pins. You will also write a reflection about your completed collection of pins.

PowerPoint is a Microsoft Software product for electronic presentations consisting of a series of separate pages or slides.

For Part 1 (due Unit 2, you would begin your PowerPoint and follow the directions on the assignment sheet.

For Part 2 (due Unit 7, you would again submit the PowerPoint with the remainder of the slides and the essay.

Submit your completed assignment to the above submission link by 11:59 p.m. EST, Sunday of Unit 2.
