Write a well-developed five paragraph essay on the ways Kate Chopin uses the different forms of irony in her short story “The Story of an Hour”. The story is found under Fiction in the Cengage ebook readings.

Use examples and direct quotes from the story for support. Examine each form of irony (situational, verbal, or dramatic) as it is used in the story. Remember to include in-text citations and an APA formatted Reference list at the end of the essay. The APA format guide is in the Start Here documents.

Be sure to use the 5 Paragraph Essay guidelines:

Paragraph 1-provides title, author, and thesis. It is also states 3 key ideas that will be discussed in the essay. It should be 5-6 sentences long.

Paragraphs 2,3,4- provides explanations and examples from the literature to support the key idea presented in each of the paragraphs. Each paragraph should be 6-8 sentences long.

Paragraph 5-restates thesis, 3 key ideas, and includes a closing statement. It should be 5-6 sentences long.
