Objective findings for the client to monitor at home (weight, labs, vital signs, blood glucose, etc.) with appropriate education on how to monitor
Medication Administration
o Best time to take medication
o How to administer medication including route and administration instructions
o If the medication can be taken on an empty stomach or with food
Precautions/Interactions with foods or other medications
Nonpharmacological therapy to treat or prevent disease without medication (does not include how to manage side effects). For example instead of using antidiarrheals to treat diarrhea, dietary changes such as toast and bananas can help to improve diarrhea.
